subhanallah
To even taste the sweetness of being that close to our Lord… what a blessing and a mercy from Allah, and also one that takes a lot of effort.

“A woman’s heart should be so hidden in God…”
Why didn’t any of you Muslimaat notice that what the kaffirah, Maya Angelou, said was shirk…”
How can anything be hidden “in God”. This is major shirk. Everyone of you needs to make tawbah!! Before any of you try to trivialize this or belittle it, shirk is the one sin Allaah WILL NOT FORGIVE!
What the hell is wrong with y’all!?!

Ramadan Mubarak!
what is wrong with you Daud??
You obviously did not understand the quote at all!!!!!!!!
Heart hidden in God is figurative meaning that she is very devoted to God.
What is wrong with you?
And do you speak arabic as a native language or did you just say kaffirah because it’s the cool muslim thing to do among your friends to call people that?
So again, no it’s not shirk. Please think before you type. Please spare us, we’re fasting here!!
Allahuma inni sa2im.
Have a great day!

Daud is so dumb. Everything is shirk for him. He lacks imagination. I wonder how he is able to worship God. Worshiping also entails some kind of imagination. Daud is such a fanatic he strikes me as someone who is capable of killing. What a shame just proves that religion in the hands of the ignorant is not a good thing.
Daud, while you are it pray for a planet of your own and get off our planet.

Assalaam’aaleykum!
This is so deep! Both the genders must reflect on this. But I am sure that ‘WE the Muslims’ must be having a better saying than this.:)

Salaams, lovely quote. Just thought I’d add that it seems the attribution of this quote is contested. The original quote is apparently by a Christian author named Max Lucado, and has been incorrectly attributed to Maya Angelou in a version which switches ‘God’ to ‘Christ’. Regardless of the source, it’s a nice thought
